Article Processing Charges (APC) & Waiver Policy

The Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Therapeutics (JMCT) is committed to promoting the unrestricted dissemination of high-quality scientific research through a fully open-access publishing model. To encourage global scholarly participation, the journal currently does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, article processing, or publication.

Authors can submit and publish their research without financial barriers while benefiting from rigorous peer review, professional editorial handling, DOI registration, and worldwide online accessibility.

Waiver Policy

As the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Therapeutics currently does not impose any Article Processing Charges (APCs), a fee waiver policy is not applicable at this time. All authors are treated equally, regardless of nationality, institutional affiliation, funding status, or country of residence.

If publication charges are introduced in the future, the journal will establish a transparent APC waiver and discount policy to support eligible authors, particularly those from low- and middle-income countries and researchers with demonstrated financial need.

Future APC Policy

The Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Therapeutics reserves the right to revise its publication fee policy if necessary to support sustainable journal operations and continued publishing services. Any future changes to APCs or publication fees will be announced transparently on the journal website before implementation and will apply only to new manuscript submissions received after the effective date.
