No. Manuscripts submitted to JPCI must be original and must not be under consideration by another journal at the time of submission.

No. JPCI currently does not charge any manuscript submission fee, peer-review fee, article processing charge (APC), or publication fee.
15. Is there an APC waiver policy?
Since JPCI currently does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs), a waiver policy is not applicable. If APCs are introduced in the future, the journal will establish a transparent waiver and discount policy.
16. What happens after my manuscript is accepted?
After acceptance, your manuscript enters the production stage, which includes copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, DOI assignment, and final quality checks before online publication.
17. When will my article receive a DOI?
Each accepted article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref during the production process before publication, ensuring permanent identification and citation.
18. Does JPCI follow continuous publication?
Yes. JPCI follows a Continuous Publication model. Articles are published online immediately after completing the editorial and production process and are later assigned to one of the journal's regular biannual issues.
19. Who retains the copyright after publication?
Authors retain the copyright of their published work. By publishing with JPCI, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and disseminate the article according to the journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy.
20. Can I share my published article?
Yes. Authors are encouraged to share the published version of their article through personal websites, institutional repositories, academic social networks, and other scholarly platforms in accordance with the journal's licensing policy.
