Editorial Process

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit manuscripts electronically through the journal's online submission system together with all required files and declarations.

2. Initial Editorial Screening

The Editorial Office evaluates the submission for completeness, formatting, compliance with journal policies, and relevance to the journal's scope.

3. Technical & Ethical Assessment

Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, ethical approval, authorship information, conflicts of interest, and compliance with publication ethics.

4. Editor Assignment

The Editor-in-Chief or a designated Academic Editor assigns the manuscript to an appropriate Handling Editor according to subject expertise.

5. Single-Blind Peer Review

The manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewer identities remain anonymous throughout the review process.

6. Editorial Decision

After receiving the reviewers' reports, the Handling Editor carefully evaluates all comments and recommendations before making a decision. When necessary, the Editor-in-Chief or Academic Editor provides additional oversight to ensure fairness, consistency, and scientific quality.

Possible Editorial Decisions
  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

7. Author Revision

If revisions are requested, authors should submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed point-by-point response explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.

8. Final Editorial Evaluation

After satisfactory revision, the Handling Editor performs a final scientific assessment. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision based on the reviewers' recommendations and the revised manuscript.

9. Acceptance

Accepted manuscripts proceed directly to the production stage. Authors are notified officially by the Editorial Office once the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

10. Copyediting & Production

The accepted manuscript undergoes professional copyediting, language editing, formatting, reference verification, layout preparation, and metadata generation to ensure consistency with the journal's publishing standards.

11. Author Proof Approval

Page proofs are sent to the corresponding author for final review. Authors are responsible for checking typographical errors and approving the final version before publication. Only minor corrections are permitted at this stage.

12. DOI Registration & Online Publication

Following final approval, each article is assigned a permanent Crossref Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and published online immediately under the journal's Continuous Publication model. Published articles are subsequently assigned to the appropriate biannual issue (January–June or July–December).
