Muhammad Torequl Islam is working as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Pharmacy Discipline at Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh. He is also working as an associate professor at the Department of Pharmacy at BSMRSTU, Gopalganj 8100, Bangladesh. Beside doing research and teaching, he is also fulfilling his duty as Director at the BioLuster Research Center, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research lines are drug discovery and development, method development, and pharmacological and toxicological screenings. He is working collaboratively with more than 23 countries (>42 institutions) in the world. He is also a prominent textbook writer in his field and working as an enthusiastic mentor to encourage young researchers

Prof. Muhammad S. Mubarak, PhD
Prof. Mubarak received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees in chemistry from the University of Jordan in 1976 and 1978, respectively. He then received his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington, USA, in 1982 under the supervision of Professor Dennis G. Peters. He served as the chairman of the Department of Chemistry and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science at The University of Jordan for several years. He has also been an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Indiana University, Bloomington (USA) since 2009. In addition to electrochemistry, Professor Mubarak’s research program is broadly based on synthetic organic chemistry, especially synthesizing compounds with expected biological activity, medicinal chemistry, natural products, and drug design and discovery. He is the author and co-author of more than 350 research papers and reviews in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in specialized books. He has also supervised 40 theses and dissertations and is on the editorial board of several journals. He also won the Highly Cited Researcher award in Cross-Field–2022 and 2023. Siddique Akber Ansari, PhD

Manik Chandra Shill, PhD
Dr. Shill is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tokushima University, Japan. In his Ph.D. Dr. Shill worked in the development of anti-allergic lead(s) from Ayurvedic plants through the suppression of PKCδ dependent signaling pathway. Dr. Shill is doing his research in molecular pharmacology, immunology, toxicology and natural product chemistry. He also extends his research in hospital and clinical pharmacy practices and public health. Dr. Shill is a good research collaborator, and published his research works in collaboration with national and international reputed institutions in various disciplines.

Marcus Vinicius Oliveira Barros de Alencar, PhD
Dr. Alencar is a Professor of Biomedicine and coordinator of the Laboratory of Research and Innovation in Biomedical Sciences (LAPIB) at Centro Universitário Inta (UNINTA) in Sobral, Ceará, Brazil, Marcus specializes in the bioprospecting of natural products with an emphasis on anticancer activity. He earned his PhD in Biotechnology Applied to Health from the Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI), Brazil, where he also conducted postdoctoral research in Biomedicine. His research interests focus on medicinal plants, particularly the structural elucidation and biological screening of secondary metabolites from plants and other organisms. Additionally, he applies molecular modeling and multivariate analysis to natural products research.

Heba Abd El-Sattar El-Nashar, PhD
Dr. El-Nashar is Assistant Professor of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Faculty of pharmacy, Ain Shams University with a general grade of excellent with honor in 2011.She is teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses of Pharmacognosy included in Pharmacy bachelor’s and master’s degree afforded by Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University. In 2015, she received her master’s degree in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. In 2020, she received her PhD degree in the field of Natural Products Chemistry including isolation, structure elucidation and biological evaluation of secondary metabolites from plants. In addition, she is now working on various research plans in Natural Product Chemistry as well as Drug Discovery, in which, the main current interest is focusing on 'Plant-derived bioactive secondary metabolites'.

Md. Shimul Bhuia, M.Pharm
Md. Shimul Bhuia has completed his B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. in Pharmacy under the Faculty of Life Science at BSMRSTU, Gopalganj 8100, Bangladesh. Currently, he is working as Deputy Director at BioLuster Research Center, Dhaka, Bangladesh. During his study, he was awarded a National Science and Technology Fellowship. He is mainly interested in neurology, cancer, immunotherapy, computational drug design, in silico studies, and natural compounds.
