BioLuster Research Center Ltd. is committed to advancing global knowledge through responsible, transparent, ethical, and accessible scholarly publishing. Established as an open-access publisher in Bangladesh, BioLuster aims to provide researchers worldwide with a reliable platform for communicating high-quality scientific and scholarly work.
Our publishing policies are designed to promote scientific quality, research integrity, editorial independence, knowledge sharing, and international collaboration. We believe that access to reliable scientific knowledge should not be unnecessarily restricted by financial barriers and therefore maintain a strong commitment to open-access and APC-free publishing.
The following principles apply to the journals published by BioLuster Research Center Ltd. Individual journals may maintain additional policies or requirements according to their respective disciplines, aims, scope, and editorial practices.
1. Open Access Commitment
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. follows an Open Access publishing model designed to make scholarly research freely accessible to readers worldwide. Published articles are made available online without subscription or paywall restrictions, allowing researchers, students, educators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the wider public to access scientific knowledge.
The publisher believes that unrestricted access to research facilitates knowledge exchange, improves research visibility, supports collaboration, and contributes to the advancement of science and society.
Research published by BioLuster journals should be discoverable and accessible to the global research community without unnecessary access barriers.
2. Rigorous Peer Review
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. recognizes peer review as a fundamental component of scholarly publishing. Manuscripts submitted to BioLuster journals are evaluated through an editorial and peer-review process appropriate to the individual journal.
Manuscripts may undergo initial editorial screening before being sent for external peer review. Appropriate reviewers are selected according to subject expertise, research experience, independence, and potential conflicts of interest.

3. APC-Free Publishing Commitment
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. is committed to APC-free scholarly publishing.
Currently, authors publishing in BioLuster journals are not required to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs). The publisher also does not charge authors submission fees or peer-review processing fees.
This policy is intended to reduce financial barriers to scholarly communication and ensure that researchers can submit and publish valuable research regardless of their institutional resources or research funding. Any future change to the publisher's fee policy will be communicated transparently through official publisher and journal announcements.
4. No Submission, Processing, or Publication Fees
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. does not currently charge authors for manuscript submission, editorial processing, peer review, or publication in its journals. The publisher is committed to maintaining a transparent fee structure and does not impose undisclosed publication-related charges.

5. Research Integrity and Ethical Standards
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity, academic honesty, transparency, and responsible scholarly communication.
Authors are expected to ensure that submitted research is original, accurately reported, ethically conducted, and appropriately referenced. Manuscripts must comply with applicable ethical requirements relating to human participants, animals, biological materials, data, and other research subjects where relevant.
The publisher does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, inappropriate image manipulation, duplicate publication, unethical authorship practices, citation manipulation, or other forms of research or publication misconduct.
6. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are expected to be based on the scientific and scholarly merits of submitted manuscripts. Editors are responsible for making independent editorial decisions in accordance with the aims, scope, policies, and standards of their respective journals.
Editorial decisions should not be influenced by commercial interests, advertising, institutional relationships, nationality, geographic location, gender, religion, political beliefs, or other inappropriate external considerations.
7. Authorship and Contributor Transparency
BioLuster journals require authorship to accurately reflect substantial scholarly contributions to the research and manuscript. All listed authors should have made meaningful contributions, approved the final manuscript, and accepted responsibility for the integrity of the work.
Authors are encouraged to provide transparent contribution information where required by the individual journal. Requests to add, remove, or rearrange authors are subject to the applicable journal's authorship policy and editorial approval.
8. Conflict of Interest and Funding Disclosure
Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to disclose relationships or circumstances that could reasonably influence, or appear to influence, research findings, manuscript evaluation, or editorial decisions.
Funding sources supporting the research should also be disclosed where applicable. Transparency in financial and non-financial relationships helps readers evaluate the research independently and strengthens confidence in the scholarly record.
9. Copyright and Licensing
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. respects the intellectual property rights of authors. Unless otherwise stated by an individual journal, authors retain copyright of their published work and grant the journal an appropriate license to publish, distribute, archive, and preserve the official version of the article.
Published articles are generally distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, where applicable. The relevant journal's Copyright and Licensing Policy should be consulted for the specific licensing terms applicable to each publication.
10. Long-Term Archiving and Digital Preservation
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. recognizes the importance of preserving the scholarly record for future generations. The publisher supports digital archiving and preservation practices designed to maintain the long-term accessibility, integrity, and discoverability of published research.
Individual journals may use recognized repositories, preservation services, DOI infrastructure, and other appropriate systems to support the long-term availability of published content.
11. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. recognizes that artificial intelligence and related technologies may assist researchers and authors during manuscript preparation, data analysis, language editing, coding, and other scholarly activities.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific validity of their manuscripts. Where required, meaningful use of AI-assisted tools should be disclosed in accordance with the relevant journal's AI policy.
12. Corrections, Retractions, and Post-Publication Integrity
BioLuster Research Center Ltd. is committed to maintaining an accurate and reliable scholarly record. When significant errors, ethical concerns, or publication misconduct are identified before or after publication, the relevant journal may take appropriate editorial action.

The publisher continuously seeks to improve editorial workflows, peer-review practices, publishing infrastructure, digital preservation, discoverability, and research integrity across its journal portfolio.
